A NEW ERA BEGINS FOR
TEXAS FREEDOM
The year began with a parade of brand-new Ideal Churches, starting with a Grand Opening in the Lone Star State, with Austin becoming the first all-Golden Age Ideal Church in history.

While before that ribbon falls on your new Church of Scientology, this is a moment to remember what was said long ago by one of your famous Texans—that it was the best land he had ever seen, and there was a world of country to settle. Well, so it is again today. Except your ‘line of country’ is the human spirit, and you settle it by restoring to people the happiness, love, sincerity and kindness with which they were created.”

A thousand miles due south, in the largest Spanish-speaking city in the world, we consecrated the first all-Golden Age Ideal Org in Latin American history.

The Ideal Church of Scientology Del Valle’s Grand Opening heralded a dynamic new beginning for Colonia del Valle, one of Mexico City’s oldest neighborhoods.
At 12 stories, the stunning new Church can be seen prominently from a mile away in any direction.

ON HISTORIC PRINTER’S ROW
We swept into the City of Big Shoulders to unveil a Chicago landmark and the first all-Golden Age Ideal Church in Midwest history.
“Today this Second City is truly Second to None. While before that Windy City ribbon comes cascading down, this is also the moment to recognize what you already know: how just as Chicago was once reborn, so today there is room for a new beginning. And thus, room for restoring to individuals the ability to live a better life—in their own estimation and with their fellows and the playing of a better game.”
The Grand Opening of the new Ideal Church in Chicago celebrates a spectacular addition to the Second City’s legacy.
The expansive and gloriously restored seven-story structure stands just a few blocks from Lake Michigan and a short distance from the city’s vibrant core.

As is tradition, we gathered in Clearwater, Florida, to share the gift L. Ron Hubbard most wanted—the ultimate gift of unending expansion. It was a night to celebrate our successes, the thrill of competition and the legacy of our Founder.
Mr. Miscavige began by honoring L. Ron Hubbard before welcoming the thousands who had gathered from around the world to revel in the achievements since the last birthday celebration.

In the Cultural Capital of the World, the spectacular new Ideal Org in Paris shines as a tower for spiritual advancement, blending elegance with innovation in the City of Light.
“We prepare to welcome Paris, in totality. So will begin your new legacy, as you invite the world to discover Scientology like never in history. But for now, today, we celebrate this stellar Ideal Org in the City of Light.”
Mr. Miscavige highlighted the historic significance of Paris as the site of the first Church of Scientology in Europe, established in 1959, before adding, “This is how you are about to create your own future legend.”

Lighting Up the Paris Skyline
The Paris Ideal Church now radiates stunningly bright with five 36-foot Scientology signs installed atop the building. Visible from any direction, these towering displays announce Scientology’s presence in the French capital.
The new Church of Scientology and Celebrity Centre Grand Paris stood prominently at the heart of the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad. Just blocks from the Stade de France, more than 60,000 attendees walked past the Church daily, with countless Olympic fans stepping through its doors to experience Scientology firsthand.

Members of the International Association of Scientologists (IAS) gathered in East Grinstead, United Kingdom, for a weekend-long celebration honoring four decades of dedication, determination and accomplishment.
Since its founding in 1984, the International Association of Scientologists has stood as a relentless force for religious freedom for all faiths. Even in the face of insurmountable odds, the Church has emerged victorious time and time again.
