IMPROVING SOCIETY
Churches of Scientology in the UK actively participate
in social betterment programmes, campaigning for greater
human rights awareness, preventing drug abuse, reforming
mental health abuse and all in addition to coordinating
one of the largest independent relief organisations
in the world—the Scientology Volunteer Ministers.

In addition to these, the Church also supports the
work of the Citizen's Commission on Human Rights, which
was co-founded by the Church of Scientology in 1969.

Scientologists can be found to support any activity
where the works of L. Ron Hubbard are applied to improve
lives. As just one example, the Association
for Better Living and Education coordinates four
